Opening Hours

Phone lines open at 8.00am each day. The lines do get very busy, so if you can’t get through, please keep trying.

If your call is not urgent, please feel free to try later in the day when the lines are quieter.

Our phone lines remain open until 6pm each evening.

GP Consulting Hours

Please be aware that although the GP may be in the surgery, they could be the Duty Doctor for that day and therefore will not be available for routine appointments.

Please ask at reception to check which GP's are available when booking your appointment.

When We Are Closed

If you need urgent medical attention when we are closed you can contact NHS 111. They will then be able to direct your call following triage, to the appropriate out of hours service

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery reopens.

This service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Emergency Situations

If a serious accident or medical emergency occurs such as, difficulty breathing, unconsciousness, suspected heart attack, deep wound, haemorrhage, collapse serious fall, heavy blood loss, suspected broken bones. Ring 999 for an ambulance or if appropriate, transport the patient direct to casualty at NHS Torbay Hospital.
